Horti 2 CB – Horti 2 luminaire is designed for illuminating greenhouse crops, where light conditions are crucial for proper plant growth and development. The power of a single lamp for the cultivation of cannabis and other plants is 200 W / 20 W, which allows to effectively illuminate even large areas of crops. Thanks to the use of modern technology and high-quality materials, the Horti 2 luminaire is characterized by high light output and long life.

Horti 2 VT – was designed specifically for lighting vertical crops. The set consists of 10 tubes, and its power is 265 W / 35 W. As a result, the Horti 2 VT luminaire allows efficient illumination of plants grown one above the other, which contributes to their faster growth and better yield.

Horti 2 LN – The Horti 2 LN luminaire is designed to illuminate Cannabis crops that require a specialized approach due to their unique light requirements. The luminaire also comes in a set of 4, which allows customization, and has a power output of 400 W / 800 W.
Leds for growing plants - inspiration straight from nature!
Observation of the world around us and the increasing demand and costs in the cultivation sector motivated us to create new crop led lights to support farmers, growers and cultivators in their daily work. We are aware that light plays an important role in the life and development of all plants. This is because photosynthesis is a process that, with the help of light, produces organic compounds, which are the plant’s main source of nutrition, directly released into the atmosphere.
Unfortunately, the days are shorter in autumn-winter-spring, which translates into a shorter growing season due to less solar energy absorbed by the plant. The increase in crop costs means that previously used artificial light sources, such as fluorescent, sodium or HPS lamps, begin to generate very high costs due to electricity consumption during this period of the year. The solution is new technologies and innovations in crop lighting with LED lamps. These are efficient light sources that can be successfully applied to various types of crops.
The original method
In nature, we can observe that light energy does not reach plants continuously. Many factors affect the amount and length of illumination, such as the season or weather conditions - cloud cover. In addition, due to the structure, the plants themselves can limit the reception of sunlight - overlapping leaves and the location of individual plants. Recognition of these phenomena and further observation of plant physiology in the wild has shown that the lack of constant, continuous sunlight is more beneficial to plant development. With inspiration taken straight from nature, our proprietary, globally unique, pulsed light system for plants was created. It is based on the modulation of light with a spectrum suitable for the crop.
Pulsed light method for plants
An innovation on a global scale and a rarity in the market of luminaires, dedicated to lighting plants is the use of Perfand LED's patented pulsed light output technology. Cyclically operating on the principle (6s more power for 8s less power).
It provides a periodic reduction in light intensity, which allows the photosynthetic apparatus to regenerate. This makes it even better prepared to efficiently use the next dose of light having a higher intensity. In this way 'the energy management of the plant becomes more efficient, closer to the natural phenomena that occur in nature.

Research conducted so far indicates that this is one of the best ways to replicate the mechanisms occurring during natural plant development while increasing light absorption and minimizing stress. Studies conducted in cooperation with the Polish Academy of Sciences have proven that on tested plants, the pulsed light patented by Perfand LED is more effective than the constant LED light and traditional light provided by HPS. In addition, the use of this solution maximizes productivity and crop savings.
Advantages of the pulsation system
The advantage of such a system is passive cooling. High temperature has a significant impact on shortening the life of LEDs, as well as other electronic components and subassemblies. The use of appropriate design of the luminaire and modulated illumination ensures the operation of components at the right temperature. Thanks to this, we do not need to use additional heat sinks and cooling fans, and the luminaire has a surface that is uniform, resistant to contamination and easy to clean (GMP).

Free choice of spectrum depending on the purpose
We selected the spectrum based on years of scientific research in cooperation with the Institute of Plant Physiology of the Polish Academy of Sciences, as well as in cooperation with crop owners in Poland and Europe. Each of our luminaires has the ability to select a spectrum depending on its intended use. Horti 2 luminaires provide visually white light that is safe for the eyes. However, they are enriched with diodes of different colors corresponding to the needs and ways of growing plants. For this purpose, we use LEDs from reputable brands such as Osram, Samsung and Lumileds. We have developed three types of spectrum based on the latest scientific research, as well as consultations with specialists
The CB spectrum is based on a spectrum composed in effect of white light. It is designed for hemp and many other crops like lettuce.
Spectrum A is based on the colors of the blue spectrum, it brings the best results in the early stages of plant growth - in seedling cultivation.
Spectrum B, based on the color of the red spectrum, brings the best results for plant growth - in greenhouse cultivation.

Why is light for plants very important?
